For the 2016/2017 school year, all 3rd through 5th graders will set a fitness goal of improving their mile run time by 15 seconds.
These students will run the mile at the beginning of the 1st quarter and their mile run time will be recorded. Each student's goal time is 15 seconds faster than that time.
These students will run the mile once during 2nd and 3rd quarter to see if they are improving their time.
Students will run the mile their final time during 4th quarter. Their time for this mile will determine if they met their goal of improving their mile run time by 15 seconds.
